Cleanup efforts are underway in Hudson County after a fuel leak at a Secaucus data center sent diesel into a local waterway.
Officials say diesel fuel leaked from a storage tank at the Equinix data center Friday night.
The fuel entered Anderson Creek, which flows into the Hackensack River.
Equinix says it is working with environmental agencies and other officials to determine what caused the leak.
The company says cleanup crews have been deployed and are expected to remain on scene for several days.
Officials say there has been no impact to drinking water supplies.
The investigation into the cause of the leak is ongoing.
