West Indian American Day Carnival ends in violence

Police say multiple people where hurt after three shootings and one slashing in Brooklyn after the West Indian American Day Carnival.
In the first incident, police say a man in his 20s was shot in the leg and a female in her 40s suffered a graze wound to the buttocks around 5:35 p.m. on Eastern Parkway.
Both were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Sources say the shooting victim was not being cooperative as of Monday night.
In a second violent incident, detectives say a man was slashed around Eastern Parkway and Nostrand Avenue around 6:15 p.m. News 12 was told the victim refused medical attention was not being cooperative as well.
Detectives say two men were then both shot ech on the shoulder around Eastern Parkway and Classon Avenue at 6:46 p.m. They were both taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.
A 53-year-old man was then shot in the neck and leg around Nostrand Avenue and Sterling Street at 6:55 p.m., according to NYPD. The man was listed in critical condition at Kings County Hospital as of Monday night.
Police say a 40-year-old woman was also shot during this same incident. She suffered a wound to the ankle and was listed in stable condition, also at Kings County Hospital.
NYPD says a person of interest is in custody in the third shooting. Charges were pending as of Monday night.
