Fair weather will control the weather through tonight and throughout most of tomorrow.
An area of storminess in western South Carolina will slowly drift northward up the East Coast through the day on Saturday. This will push clouds in our direction but also steer wet weather towards New Jersey for the late evening hours on Saturday.
Showers and storms will linger into very early Sunday morning and then the clouds will move away quickly, allowing us to salvage the rest of Sunday. The daytime hours of the weekend look OK. Wet weather is expected for Saturday night into the overnight hours.
All eyes will be on the weather charts in the coming days. The quiet hurricane season through the summer has come alive. Two possible storms could threaten parts of the East Coast.
It is still way too early to tell what these storms will do. What I am fairly confident about is that the wave action along the Jersey shoreline will begin to get feisty early next week.
Stay tuned.
