31m agoA water main break on Earle Avenue in Lynbrook has shut down a portion of the road in front of the firehouse.
Lynbrook police told News 12 that the avenue was closed between Merrick Road and Sunrise Highway.
Liberty Water says it has crews there working to repair the break.
About 60 customers lost water service. Liberty Water asked for patience and estimated that all service would be restored by midnight. However, it says weather conditions are creating difficulties to provide a specific timeline for repairs.
There is no word yet on what caused the break.
