The forecast remains quiet with fair weather being the dominant weather feature through the weekend.
A favorable southerly flow helps keep temperatures 5-10 degrees warmer than average. It is a fitting end to summer with pristine sunshine and unusually warm air to lead us to the weekend.
A sneaky cold front slips through the region late Friday night into Saturday. There might be a bump up in cloud coverage in the overnight hours, but we are not expecting any rain from it.
What we can expect is a dip in temperatures. Both Saturday and Sunday will be fabulous, but it will be a little cooler than today and Friday. In fact, the forecast suggests temperatures would be a little cooler than the seasonal average for this time of year.
Monday, we can now jump into pumpkin spice season, and I can't say a word about it. Why? Because it is officially the start of fall. Now, it's appropriate to celebrate all things autumnal.
