Warm and sunny weather returns to New Jersey

Cooler, autumn-like temperatures return tonight and tomorrow after a warm afternoon today.

There is a COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY in effect for Ocean County as lingering yet isolated flooding takes place in the waterfront areas that have been damaged from the weekend storm.
FORECAST:
It will be a warm day with highs near 70 degrees this afternoon. The morning clouds depart to feature the sunshine, that will be bright all afternoon and evening. It will be lightly breezy with a light northwesterly wind and crisp conditions.
Tonight's lows will be in the upper 30s in NW New Jersey and in the mid-40s elsewhere.
The sun shines bright for the rest of the week with highs in the lower 60s.
The weekend looks great with slightly warmer temperatures in the upper 60s, near 70 degrees.
The next chance for rain arrives overnight Sunday into Monday morning. It won't be "bad rain," but certainly beneficial as we are at a rain deficit.
