There will be a warm start to the weekend, followed by a cooler fall-feel Sunday and next week. Temperatures stay mild for now, but there be a big pattern change and we will be sweater weather mode for a few days. Even the nighttime temperatures the next few nights will be mild, too.

A weak cold front will slide through tonight and bring a little rain. Showers are possible after about midnight for a few hours. This will be light and clear by the time the sun rises Saturday. Highs will climb into the middle and upper 70s.

Sunday looks nice but slightly cooler, so if you have outdoor plans you may want a jacket. Highs on Sunday will be in the upper 60s, which is actually seasonable for early October. This is nothing compared to the temperatures we'll have next week. Think full on fall and jackets or coats will be needed at times.

Another cold front will swing through late Sunday into Monday. There will be more rain coming through the area and it looks to hit early Monday. The rainfall looks to be a little more substantial and deliver up to half an inch of rain.

After this clears, we are in the clear. The dry stretch we've been experiencing lately continues through next week. Not much rain will be found anywhere in the region and the abnormally dry conditions through a good chunk of the state will also continue.

Temperatures will be much cooler next week, but the sky will remain clear.
