This is your vote 2025 election night coverage. And for the first time in more than a decade, White Plains is getting a new mayor. That's the top story right now. That's right. And tonight, Justin Brash is speaking right now. Let's listen in. if you don't, you might end up in the outhouse. So the first thing that I have to do is take a moment to thank my wife Julie, who supports me day and night so we can do for the city. And for our community. We of course have to take a moment to congratulate my slate mates Nick Woolf, Evelyn Santiago, and Riching on an incredible victory tonight. They worked hard, they're good people they care about our city and most importantly they're people with good values and that's really what this is all about. They're gonna help us lead our city and keep it doing the kinds of things where we care about people. I wanna take a moment to acknowledge and thank my colleagues on the city council. Where's John Martin? All right, thank you John Martin for everything. I wanna thank our council president Vicky Presser right there for everything she does for us. And I want to thank where's Jeremiah Fry Pearson. Someone who really digs in deep to help us day and night. This is kind of the slightest bit of difficult part this evening. My partner in the primary, my partner in this election, the person who does everything for us, Jen Poo is at home not feeling well tonight. So we're gonna take a moment of course to talk about Jen. I've served on the city council with Jen. I've served as a district leader with her. I've run campaigns with her and as we all know her incredible commitment to our labor community for her work during the day. So we're sad she's not here, but we're so grateful that she is going to be elevated and become our next county legislator. So Jen, if you're watching, we don't like you, we love you and we love your approach to the world and to government and to helping people in our city and in our county and we're so excited for your new your new promotion. We also have to congratulate our other county legislator on a solid victory tonight, Juw Williams Johnson. And then of course the person we really need to to thank who's been leading our city for years, Mayor Tom Roach. Mayor Roach won a stunning and tremendous victory to be the next county clerk. So congratulations, Tom, and thank you. And of course we'll get to see him later tonight. We gotta thank our tremendous and inspiring leader, our county executive Ken Jenkins on a tremendous victory tonight. They tried to paint him in the ugliest ways as some kind of radical, but we know he's a good practical democrat like us who cares about our communities, helps us, helps us build affordable housing, helps us keep our streets clean and everybody safe so thank you Ken Jenkins for everything that you do for all of us. Just a couple more. I have to take a moment to thank our chair or fearless leader Tim James. And then there's one person who came to my rescue at the beginning of my primary. I don't even know if she's here, but I have to thank Jimena Franello from the Hispanic Democrats for standing with me and standing with our community. I'd like to admit
