        Violent incidents on MTA buses, subways leave commuters feeling wary

        Recent violence on MTA buses and subways has some commuters on edge.
        On Sunday evening, police say a 15-year-old boy was shot after an argument on the Bx35 bus turned violent. Hours later, police say a man was slashed multiple times with a boxcutter on a bus traveling from the Bronx into Manhattan in Inwood.
        Police have not made arrests in either case.
        NYPD data shows that transit crime is up nearly 15% to last year with nearly 250 incidents so far on subways and buses.
        News 12’s Syeda Abbas spoke with commuters about how the violent incidents.
