A house fire broke out on Columbia Street in Wood-Ridge early this morning.
The Wood-Ridge fire chief says the first reports came in around 5:30 a.m. and it took crews about 10 minutes to put the fire out. The chief says the home was vacant and no one was inside when the fire started. He said the house was not fully involved.
While the cause is under investigation, officials say the fire may have involved construction material inside the home.
A for sale sign remains in front of the house, though online listings show the property as off the market.
Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
