USGS confirms 6 earthquakes in Morris County

The six earthquakes came within a span of 24 hours.

Earthquakes are once again the center of conversation, this time in Morris County.
The U.S. Geological Survey confirms six minor earthquakes yesterday.
The first one was reported at 5:40 a.m. Monday near Morris Plains with a magnitude 1.6. The second was reported at 2:26 p.m. Monday near Randolph with a magnitude 1.3.
Two more were reported later in the day. A magnitude 0.7 earthquake was reported near Mendham at 5:51 p.m. Later, a magnitude 1.2 earthquake was reported near Randolph at 8:19 p.m. and a magnitude 2.0 earthquake was also reported near Randolph at 9 p.m.
Then again near Randolph, a magnitude 1.1 earthquake was reported at 11:25 p.m.
