        A state trooper from Poughkeepsie has been accused of obstructing a drug investigation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
        They say Michael O’Flaherty, 42, lied to federal investigators and told a drug dealer linked to multiple overdose deaths about a convert investigation.
        He also allegedly instructed the dealer to destroy evidence.
        Authorities say O’Flaherty has been suspended without pay.
