Two men on the run after early morning shooting in Castle Hill
Police are searching for two men who they say are responsible for an early morning shooting in Castle Hill.
According to the NYPD, a 34-year-old man was shot just after 4 a.m. outside a deli at the corner of Gleason and Castle Hill avenues.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to the abdomen, police say.
Paramedics took him to Lincoln Hospital, where authorities say he is expected to recover.
According to the NYPD, the armed duo took off running after the shooting. Both men were last seen dressed in all black and wearing face masks.
