Two dozen dogs were removed from a home in Ewing after police said they were found living in inhumane and unsanitary conditions.
Shirley Henderson is facing charges following the investigation at a home on Terrace Boulevard last month.
Police said Henderson kept 24 dogs inside the residence in poor conditions.
Officers found some of the animals were in need of medical care, according to police.
The dogs have since been taken in by EASEL Animal Rescue League.
The organization said the animals will be made available for adoption.
