Alton Harrell has been arrested in connection to a missing 14-year-old from Patchogue, a source confirms.
According to court documents, the 35-year-old is being charged with rape, endangering the welfare of a child and kidnapping.
The minor was missing for nearly a month before being located on a boat in Islip.
According to the court documents, the 35-year-old abducted the victim on Dec. 9 and brought her to an abandoned home on Doane Avenue, where she was unlikely to be found.
The abandoned house that the victim was allegedly brought to is across the street from where Harrell lives, according to court documents.
Harrell is the third person arrested in connection to the missing girl. Also arrested were 47-year-old Bunice Knight and 64-year-old Francis Buckheit. Both are facing similar charges.
