The Pantry in Fairfield is recovering from a fire. The owners tell News 12 Connecticut's Mark Sudol that the fire started Monday afternoon when crews working on pavement in a parking lot outside the building accidentally lit the building on fire with a blowtorch. The store is hoping to reopen Friday and is waiting to hear from insurance companies on the damages. The store wants to thank the community for all their support.
