The cost of a spring wardrobe is pushing folks toward thrifting.

Beyond enduring fashion, it's about saving money, and Warren Franz, owner of Another Man's Treasure, has mastered the art at his nearly 20-year-old Jersey City shop.

Franz notes a shift in trends. "Teenagers into their early 20s and they didn't get to live thru the 90s or their Y2K era, so that's the stuff they're really gravitating toward. So you have to be on top of this to see the uptick in the trend and be on it," he said.

Kids are now dressing like their parents did, reliving 90s and Y2K styles.

Thrifting ranges from $20 sale racks to designer pieces worth hundreds, snagged for a quarter of the price.

Franz emphasizes it's not just about cost but the value of an item, a sentiment amplified as social media fuels vintage shopping's popularity.
