Your father may often be the man with the plan but come Sunday, the planning is on you. If you are looking to celebrate dad, be prepared for the expenses that come with it.
Circana’s chief retail analyst is helping us budget by breaking down the cost of things your special guy may want, need or love.
“That shirt and tie can run between $48 up to $250,” said Marshal Cohen.
For the craftsman in your life, cordless power tools are a great gift option. According to Cohen they range from $36 to $120.
If you are looking at other popular presents, Cohen says that sticking with a popular sport is an easy win.
“One of the most popular gifts to give, believe it or not, is a dozen golf balls. They can run at about $48 to $54 if you get them personalized.”
If dad is looking to put that gift right into practice, Cohen reminds that course costs can vary by day.
“The public golf courses are running about $48 during the week and $56 to $65 on the weekends.”
Many of the dads News 12 spoke with aren’t looking for an item you can purchase at the store, instead they are looking for a little relaxation and quality time with the people who helped give them their “dad” title.
