A family is safe after a fire broke out in their Jericho home on Thanksgiving Day, officials said.

The fire started in an oven before spreading. Multiple fire departments responded to the house on Brook-Ville Lane yesterday evening.

Crews were able to contain the flames quickly and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is likely due to a cooking incident, officials said.
