FORECAST:
Yep - a spring fling! High temperatures today make a run for near 60-62 degrees in Monmouth and western Ocean counties! The sun will shine more in southern areas where the temperatures will have the opportunity to soar to a pleasant feel for a brief few hours this afternoon. It feels great for the next few days, too, despite the small round of rain tonight in northern areas and statewide on Thursday.
Highs in northern New Jersey will be in the mid-50s, which is still comfortable. However, there will be many clouds through the day.
Tomorrow is better for everyone with a mostly sunny sky and highs in the upper 50s. It may even feel like the lower 60s under the sunshine when the air is still. There will be a light calm breeze for Wednesday.
Thursday will be mostly cloudy with midday passing rain showers and mild air with highs in the lower 60s in many parts of New Jersey.
Friday will be breezy with cooler temperatures and a mix of sun and clouds. Friday's high will be 50.
The weekend is cooler with highs in the mid to lower 40s. There may be a passing flurry on Saturday associated with a clipper system that "clips" past the northern areas of New Jersey. There isn't any accumulation expected, but a cloudy sky with a rogue flurry is possible instead.
Sunday is colder with highs that struggle to get warmer than 40 degrees under a sunny sky.
