A teenage boy was slashed and robbed in Bath Beach.

Police say that the thief approached a 17-year-old boy in front of 9 Bay 28 St. and slashed him in the chest with a knife. Then, the thief took $200 from the teen’s pocket before escaping.

EMS took the teen to Maimonides Medical Center and he is expected to recover.
