1h agoA man is behind bars after a hit-and-run crash in Jackson that left a 16-year-old boy hospitalized.
The crash happened just before noon Tuesday on South New Prospect Road.
Prosecutors say Luke Ferrante veered off the road and hit the teen before driving off.
Officers found Ferrante about a half mile away, slumped over the wheel of his damaged car.
They say he had drugs on him at the time. He faces hit-and-run and drug charges.
