4h agoAuthorities have identified the victim in last week's beach shooting as 18-year-old Chrystofer Whyte of North Brunswick.
Gunfire broke out just after sunset Thursday, sending people running from the beach and boardwalk. Whyte was killed in the chaos.
He is remembered as a treasured friend and teammate who played football and wrestled at Woodbridge High School.
No arrests have been made. Officials are asking anyone with information to contact them.
