All right. It is summer on news 12 obviously with the open. But this morning we're having a little bit of fall fun as well. In Flemington, New New Jersey's Lauren de is at a boutique offering unique crystals and other spiritual gifts. Lauren. It sounds like you're getting ready for spooky season, not summer. I know it does sound like that, but you could celebrate spooky season all year long here, especially during April through October November. Right, Tony, the owner here within spirit. So what do you have going on here? We have these crystals we have. Yes. So we have a medical physical metaphysical shop here in Flemington on Stangle Road in the Stangle Arts and Cultural district. We have crystals, we have jewelry, we have gifts, we card decks, we have an entire herbal apothecary here in the back of the store. And basically we run events, we offer reading services and we also run the Flemington Ghost walk, which we're going to talk about a little bit later. We will do that at 630 once the sun comes out, but real quick, these crystals, what do they mean? And these are really affordable too. So what is this? So basically, you have seven main chakras or points of the body. Each color co uh corresponds to a different chakra. So say blue, for instance, is your throat chakra. So that's something that will aid with um emotional balance and healing, communication, forgiveness, public speaking, um throat issues, which you're having a little bit of today. So here maybe we need to give you one of these. I do and when all of my voice goes good and then real quick your bracelets. Yeah. So I have on today a green jade which is for luck in abundance. Abundance does not always mean financial abundance. It could be abundance of love, abundance of friendship, happiness. And I have Smoky Courts because I actually have uh anxiety and uh Smoky Courts is great for people with uh depression and anxiety because it's a very calming stone. Well, it's summer on News 12. But this morning we're having a little bit of fall fun in Flemington News 12. New Jersey's Lauren de is at a boutique that is offering crystals and other spiritual gifts. So, Lauren, what's the plan for today? Yeah, I and Nick. So this might be the most calm you'll probably ever see me because the room is making me. We're with Tony here with within Spirit and we're in the reading room. So what exactly takes place in here? So my partner Nikki, who uh unfortunately can't be with us today. Uh does a variety of reading services ranging from mediumship to card readings or reading chakra readings. She also does pet Reiki and we run a bunch of workshops as well. Uh So we have a, we have a lot going on here besides just the product downstairs. I know, but I want to focus on the product because he brought these bracelets. I did bring up some bracelets. Yeah. So talk about the healing power of crystals. So people choose to use their crystals in a variety of ways. Some people might want to hold them or meditate with them. Um for me personally, the easiest way to do it is just to have a bracelet. It's basically like set it and forget it. Um So we brought a couple up here just to show you guys this is black tourmaline, black tourmaline is great for uh what protection and what we call grounding, which is a connection to nature. Uh Good for depression, good for anxiety. Um Good for any um what we call uh correlating to the root chakra. So any like leg issues, back pain, stuff like that. Uh We have Amazonite has those calming be beach vibes to it. Very good calming stones that yeah, uh associated with the heart and the throat chakra. So all good vibes with that. We have uh amethyst which a lot of the ladies love, you know, nice uh semi precious stones. Um But amethyst is also really good for psychic enhancement. Um And it's really great for people who have migraines or people who are suffering from cancer. Um And then we have how light, how light is great for people who have insomnia and good for meditation as well. Wow, very nice, very fun. And also it's haunted not only in this store but throughout Flemington too. So there is one here, right? We're not gonna make him come out. Don't worry, you can stay sleeping. Well, it's summer on News 12 and this morning we're having a little bit of fall fun as well in Flemington. That's right. News. 12. New Jersey's Lauren do has been taking a ghost tour. You've been exploring crystals and other spiritual gifts. What are you learning this morning, Lauren? Yeah, we are going to be on the go or we are on main street now. We made it to the first stop, Tony. You run it here within spirit and we are at the first stop. So, do you think you 15 minutes long? So this is the gift horse candle shop and home accent. This building has a lot of cool history to it. This building actually was a motorcycle armory for the US army during world war. I, I, so we had our main armory across the street where our antique store is and this was the motorcycle armory. It's been a lot of things over the years. It originally was a dry goods merchant. It's been an electrical supply house. Now, we have this wonderful retail establishment here and we actually have spirits inside of this building. Ok. So tell me about them. So we have a male and we have a female and a little girl who is about eight years old. Her name is Annie and she likes to cause a little mischief sometimes in the store, which is actually how this stock got on the tour was because the owner called us and said I need your help. Oh, what are things happening? Um So she's, um, actually gone and gone up to, uh, in between a customer and the owner of the business and knocked over an entire pile of products in between the two of them. So we've actually got her, you know, now that she's being acknowledged, she's like any kid. You know, people keep the same personality in death they had in life, she just wanted to be acknowledged. And so now that the business owner does acknowledge her, she is all good and, you know, things are nice and that she is nice and calm. I'm not really nice and calm though. Not at all. Well, it may be summer on News 12 this morning. We're also having a little bit of fall fun in Flemington. That's right. News of New Jersey's Lauren do has been checking out a ghost tour. You've been having a lot of fun this morning. So much fun walking around around the ghost walk with Tony, the owner of within Spirit. So much fun. This is our last stop of the day. What do you got for us here? So this area is the Courthouse Square area. This area is the site of the trial of the century, the Charles Lindbergh baby kidnapping. The trial was held right here in the courthouse. Uh We have the Lynn building where some of the more local reporters stayed and we have while it's here under construction. The Bell of the Ball, the Historic Union Hotel, which in and of itself, we could probably do an entire tour around with the amount of ghost stories that we've heard from. Not only just people we've talked in the past but even tour attendees. So much fun. That is, and there are over a dozen buildings that you can visit. How do people get tickets to go on a tour. So you can go to Flemington Ghost walk.com or you can go to Within Spirit and j.com and purchase tickets for the Ghost Walk there. The next availability we have would be actually Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. There is also an adult only special Halloween walk. It's a partnership with uh Skunk Town Distillery, which is also located on Stangle Road that if you don't have kids, you don't get a lot of trick or treaters, you get the tour, you get a couple of drinks and we have a good time.
