Clouds to sun today, chance of evening storms on Saturday

Mother Nature isn't bringing us a washed-out weekend, but we do have the threat for some storms, mainly in the late afternoon on Saturday.

Grey skies and an isolated shower or two are expected to clear up early today. Thankfully, Mother Nature isn't bringing us a washed-out weekend, but we do have the threat for some storms, mainly in the late afternoon on Saturday.
The Oyster Festival and several other fall fun activities are happening around Connecticut this weekend! It would be great if the dry and sunny Labor Day Weekend weather we enjoyed extended into this weekend but unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. Truth is, we could use more rain anyway. We had some last night but it's nearly over. There are a couple snafus for outdoor plans this weekend.
A front continues crossing our area on Saturday and brings a chance for scattered showers Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, it's a mix of clouds and some sun with high temperatures close to the average for this time of the year using Bridgeport stats.
