Mold inside the Laura Donovan Elementary School in Freehold is forcing students to attend their first day of school in other parts of the school district.
The mold-related issues were created by weather and summer cleaning, according to letters sent by the district to parents earlier this summer.
Remediation is taking place but there's no word on how long the cleanup will take and when students and staff may be able to return.
Teachers have also lost much needed supplies.
