FORECAST:
A stretch of cooler weather is on the way. Temperatures will be closer to seasonable, if not slightly below normal. This will be a refreshing change and in fact, a little chillier at night. Think about putting the heat on and turning those air conditioners off for good.
The winds will relax, and the sun will shine heading into Friday.
The weekend looks pretty good with a mixture of sun and clouds, but it will be cool. Daytime highs will only reach the middle 50s by Sunday.
The weather remains dry until later next week. There is a risk of rain starting late Wednesday or early Thursday with a possible coastal storm around Halloween. Stay with News12 CT for further details regarding next week's weather.
