I've said this before, and I will say it again: This forecast fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. The continuous onshore flow, clouds and rain showers have kept our afternoon temperatures in the 50s. It is quite a change, even by yesterday's standards, and we set the bar low yesterday in the temperature department.

This pattern will continue to unravel over the area tonight through tomorrow and into the first part of Friday. I see a subtle break by Friday afternoon.

The Memorial Day weekend forecast looks good. Saturday will be our day. We just need a little more patience with the weather. There will be cloudy skies, but there will be moments when the sun pokes through.

Sunday and Monday will be sunnier and warmer. We will likely see afternoon highs in the upper 60s and low 70s.
