ALERTS: Coastal Flood Advisory for Ocean County.
A pre-Halloween soaker is set to impact the tri-state. Today will be the calm before the storm on Thursday. More clouds than sun are expected today. There could be a few showers over coastal southern New Jersey. It'll be breezy and cool.
Rain will move in during the morning commute on Thursday. The rain could be heavy at times and winds will gust to 45 mph at the coast. A miserable day to say the least. One to three inches of rain is possible by the time the storm winds down toward sunset. Minor coastal flooding is possible at times of high tide. Street and highway flooding is possible, especially where leaves have clogged drains.
Halloween will be windy, cool but dry. The weekend will be bright and cool.
