A man was arrested after Englewood police said a pair of stolen AirPods helped officers track him following a vehicle burglary Monday.
Police said officers responded to a report of a vehicle burglary and learned from the victim that AirPods had been taken from the vehicle. With the victim's assistance, officers used the AirPods' location information to track the missing devices.
An officer found and stopped a man in possession of the AirPods after a brief investigation, according to police.
Police said the man made several disparaging comments and threatened one of the officers.
He was charged with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, resisting arrest and possession of burglary tools. Police said he was taken to the Bergen County Jail pending a court appearance.
Police did not identify the man in the release.
