Stamford police says a pursuit on Friday afternoon ended with the suspect car colliding with multiple police cruisers.
Authorities say it began at 2:30 p.m. after reports of a vehicle explosion behind Stillmeadow Elementary School that released a white powdery substance.
A blue car fled the scene as officers arrived and that's when the pursuit followed. It ended in the collisions
in High Ridge Office Park.
Police say two minors who were not Stamford residents were taken into custody.
The minors and several officers were injured during the incident, according to authorities.
Their conditions were not immediately known as of Saturday night.
Officials say the white powder from the suspects' car was not dangerous.
Initial findings did not indicate that the school was targeted and there is no ongoing danger.
