The streets were packed Sunday for the Sleepy Hollow Street Fair ahead of the first day of fall.
The event welcomed in people from all over the country to drink, eat, and shop with local vendors.
Last year, the event saw upwards of 30,000 people which Sleepy Hollow Chief of Police Anthony Bueti attributed to the town’s spooky fame exploding on TikTok.
"There's definitely some people here who are like – ‘there’s too many people coming; the infrastructure can't handle it.’ For us, I think it's great for local business. Local business thriving is always good for the community as well," said street vendor and business owner Alyse Shyne with Cozy Coven.
This year, the village recommended for this event and any future events to utilize public transportation to address the overflow of parking and driving.
