1h agoPolice say a woman was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer in Crown Heights early Friday morning.
It happened just after 5:20 a.m. at Eastern Parkway and Schenectady Avenue. Investigators say the 18-wheeler kept going after the crash. They believe the driver most likely didn’t realize he hit someone.
Highway investigators are on scene, blocking off the busy intersection as they work to piece together how it happened.
EMS responded but pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Police have not yet released her name.
The investigation is ongoing.
