Inspiring student filmmakers from Sacred Heart Greenwich will soon have their work shown on the big screen.
The festival is the world's largest high school film festival and annually receives 2,500 to 3,000 submissions.
According to
Sacred Heart, the chosen films will compete for prizes in the following categories: comedy, documentary, experimental, PSA and sports feature.
The films will be screened at the AMC Empire 25 Theatre October 19 and 20 in New York City.
Nominees and winners in each category will be announced at the Teen Indie Awards Oct. 20 at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
