A woman is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run in River Edge.
Police arrested 47-year-old Demetria York in connection with the crash.
Officials say she hit a woman who was crossing the street Tuesday evening at the intersection of Kinderkamack and Windsor roads.
York is being held in the Bergen County Jail.
The 35-year-old victim is in the hospital with serious injuries.
