Democratic lawmakers raised their voices in Washington this morning as they responded to the attack on Iran.

Rep. Pat Ryan (NY-18), a veteran, joined in a news conference and says the nation does not need another war. “What is the best way to honor the individuals I have on my bracelet that I lost in combat?” said Ryan. “And to me, it's to speak out. It's to say another generation should not go fight in an open‑ended ill‑conceived regime‑change war in the Middle East.”

Lawmakers said Congress will soon be voting on whether to limit President Trump’s war powers following the attack on Iran.
