        Recall issued for Lactaid Milk due to possible almond allergen

        The recall is for 96-ounce milk carton varieties of Lactaid produced by HP Hood LLC.

        A recall has been issued for Lactaid Milk because the product may contain trace amounts of an almond allergen.
        The recall is for 96-ounce milk carton varieties of Lactaid produced by HP Hood LLC.
        The FDA says the recall applies to containers with the code 51-4109 P2 and best buy dates of Nov. 22, 2024 through Dec. 5, 2024.
        No illnesses have been reported. Customers who bought the product may return it to the retailers where they were purchased for a full refund or exchange.
        Customers can also call Hood Consumer Affairs at 800-242-2423 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
