9h agoA child was killed and a man was injured in a shooting Friday evening in Newark, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office.
The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Osborne Terrace.
Very few details about the shooting were released. Officials say an 8-year-old boy was killed and a man was shot.
Essex County Sherriff Amir Jones has announced a Crime Stoppers Program reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons responsible.
