Did you feel the earth move under your feet? Carol King lovers and others felt a nearby earthquake in NJ. This occurred in Bergen County, NJ but many of us felt it here in Connecticut! A few quick words about that:
-This earthquake was MUCH smaller than the one that occurred last year in Tewksbury, New Jersey.
-This earthquake was a 3.0 vs last year's 4.8.
-That is about 501 times less energy than last year's!
Today is a gorgeous day. Highs in the 80s, lows in the 50s and 60s. An outstanding outdoor day. The sunny and dry weather continues for the first half of this week! Fantastic feeling days too, with low humidity, comfortable and summerlike temperatures, and low humidity. There isn't much in the way of rain chances this week, but we will keep an eye on the forecast as it evolves.
The next few days will be prime days for washing the car, going for a walk, sunbathing (with sunscreen because that UV index is very high), or truly any activity you could want!
SUNDAY: Highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s. Tons of sunshine!
MONDAY: Highs in the middle 80s, lows in the 60s. Mostly sunny.
TUESDAY: Sun and clouds. Highs in the middle 80s, lows in the higher 60s.
WEDNESDAY: Clouds and sun. Highs in the low 80s, lows in the high 60s.
