        Poll: Over 22 million skip work after Super Bowl, up 40% from last year

        If you're taking the day off due to the Super Bowl, you're far from alone.
        A new Harris Poll reveals that more than 22.5 million Americans are missing work today, which is a 40% increase from last year.
        According to the poll, only 2% of those taking the day off planned to call in sick, and another 2% intended to 'ghost' their employer by simply not showing up.
