        Police: Yorktown man charged for false stolen vehicle report

        Police say Jerry Giovianazzo's claim was contradicted by video evidence showing the SUV driving at a time that did not align with his statements.

        A 51-year-old Yorktown man has been accused of filing a false report with police, claiming his SUV was stolen from his driveway on Jan. 15, despite it being locked.
        Police say Jerry Giovianazzo's claim was contradicted by video evidence showing the SUV driving at a time that did not align with his statements.
        After an investigation, Giovianazzo turned himself in to police on Monday.
