A male pedestrian was fatally struck Thursday night in Vineland, according to police.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on West Landis Avenue near Coney Avenue.
A driver in a dark green Honda was traveling west when it struck Michael J. Cimback, Jr. as he pushed a shopping cart across the roadway.
The driver fled the scene, and the pedestrian was struck by a Chevrolet Tahoe shortly after.
The second driver was uninjured, according to police. Cimback was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
Police say no charges have been filed.
