        Police: Motorcyclist seriously injured in Milford crash

        Police say a 32-year-old man was driving north when the motorcycle locked up his rear brake and caused him to skid about 65 feet.

        One person was severely injured following a motorcycle accident in Milford, police say.
        It happened just before 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Wheelers Farm Road.
        Police say a 32-year-old man was driving north when the motorcycle locked up his rear brake and caused him to skid about 65 feet.
        While the bike skidded, the driver attempted to maintain control when the motorcycle's floorboard and or kickstand might have caught the pavement, according to authorities.
        He was thrown off the bike in the area of Wheelers Farm Road and Musket Hill Lane.
        He was treated on scene and taken to Bridgeport Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
