4h agoA man was shot and killed on Hewitt Street in Bridgeport, police say.
It happened just after 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Police said they found the victim in front of a residence with gunshot injuries to his torso.
The shooting reportedly happened due to a dispute that began at home, according to police.
Police said the victim was a 48-year-old Bridgeport resident and knew his attacker.
He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police did not release the man's identity.
The Detective Bureau Homicide Squad and the Forensic Identification Unit are investigating.
