Police: Man attacked in Mott Haven
3h agoA Copiague man accused of driving while intoxicated, crashing his truck and then fleeing the scene was arrested Monday morning in Lindenhurst.
Police say Michael Flanigan, 35, struck a pole while driving a Dodge Ram on West Montauk Highway.
He was caught by officers shortly after exiting the vehicle and attempting to leave on foot, according to authorities.
Police say he was hospitalized with minor injuries.
