18h agoA North New Hyde Park man accused of driving drunk and killing a pedestrian was arrested on Friday night.
Police say Singh Bharaj, 32, struck a 61-year-old woman attempting to cross Lakeville Road around 10:30 p.m. She was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The charges against Bharaj include vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene of an incident and driving while intoxicated.
