A man accused of point a gun at a teen during a road rage incident Friday night in Garden City is facing weapons and menacing charges, according to police.
Authorities say a male in a black Honda Pilot engaged in the road rage argument with a 17-year-old boy and a 41-year-old woman in the Roosevelt Field Mall parking lot.
They say the victim immediately contacted police after the man aimed a black firearm at him before fleeing westbound on Old County Road.
Officers later located and apprehended 45-year-old Bronx resident Winston Merrick. A loaded Glock 26 was also recovered during the investigation.
Authorities say Merrick was arraigned on Saturday in Hempstead.
