Police are investigating reports of a burglary at Mr. Subs in Rahway, authorities said.

Officers responded to Paterson Avenue after receiving a report of a burglary. They found damage consistent with a forced entry, police said. Police searched the business to ensure no suspects remained inside and then secured the scene.

Investigators are examining whether the burglary may be connected to other recent commercial burglaries reported in Rahway.

Police said they are not releasing details about evidence recovered, property reported missing, surveillance footage, suspect information or investigative leads because the investigation remains active.
