Police: Greenwich officer arrested, on leave after dispute with another officer

The identity of the second officer has not been released. Both officers were off-duty during the time of the incident.

Police: Greenwich officer arrested, on leave after dispute with another officer
A Greenwich police officer has been arrested after a dispute involving another officer, police say
Steven Caldwell was arrested by Connecticut State Police on March 28. The identity of the second officer has not been released.
Both officers were off-duty during the time of the incident.
Police say their offenses are misdemeanors, and no one was physically injured.
Caldwell has been placed on administrative leave and an internal investigation is underway, according to authorities.
State police are also investigating the incident.
In a statement, Deputy Chief Mark Zuccerella said, "please know that we are taking this matter with the utmost seriousness. The trust between our department and the community we serve is invaluable. The Greenwich Police Department reaffirms our unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and continual improvement. While this incident is disheartening, it remains an isolated occurrence, and it should not overshadow the dedication and honorable service exhibited by the majority of our officers."
