Police are searching for a person behind two incidents in which two people were scammed out of more than $70,000 in Brooklyn.

Both victims received calls from a person claiming to be from the Amazon Fraud Department.

In both incidents, the scammer directed the victims to withdraw large sums of money to resolve supposed fraudulent activity on their accounts. That's when the scammer directed them to give the money to a person in a vehicle.

The incidents happened in Mill Basin and Midwood.
